About the BOD
MOAR is governed by a Board of Directors. Regular meetings are once a month (excluding July and December) to:
- review financials

- determine policy and programs
Officer positions of President, President-elect and Treasurer are a one year term. Director positions are a three year term. The President-Elect shall automatically serve in the position of President the following year.
The Board of Directors includes the elected Officers mentioned above, the Immediate Past President of the association, with voting privileges, one Affiliate Member with voting privileges and seven elected REALTOR® member directors of the association.
Directors shall be elected to serve for terms of three years, except if elected to fill a vacant seat for terms of one, two and three years respectively.
- Term Limits. No director shall serve for more than two consecutive three year terms.
- No more than two REALTORS® from the same real estate firm may simultaneously serve on the Board of Directors.
These volunteer leadership roles are vital to our association. Stepping into a Board of Director position will increase your knowledge of association operations and enhance your own business networking.
